Wireless bioDevices has been nominated for the prestigious Scottish Enterprise Life Sciences Award 2007 in the ‘Most promising new life-science company in Scotland’ category. The company was one of three short-listed finalists, selected by a judging panel in November 2007, recognising excellence in new companies that are making a significant contribution to the industry.

Wireless bioDevices has secured a SPUR award from the Scottish Executive to support the development of the company's first product, SensaPill, which is set to revolutionise the diagnosis of bowel cancer.

Wireless bioDevices receives investment from IP Group
line
IP Group today announced it has invested £400,000 in Wireless bioDevices to help the company commercialise its wireless biosensor technology for use in medical diagnostics. Wireless bioDevices was spun-out from Glasgow University earlier this year with support from Scottish Enterprise Glasgow and daVinci Ventures.
